Chris graduated with a First in Law with French at the University of Kent at Canterbury in 1983, following which he trained, qualified and gained ‘blue chip’ City experience in London during the first 10 years of his career.

From 1994 to date, he has practised at leading firms of solicitors in Essex, specialising in commercial property across a wide range of deals and economic sectors, whilst also handling bespoke residential conveyancing cases.  He has also carried out work for Essex County Council’s legal team, adding local authority experience to his c.v.

Throughout market ups and downs of over 30 years in the profession, he has handled all kinds of freehold and leasehold transactions, development, secured lending and insolvency work, property portfolio management and planning and environmental advice.
